Software/ System Verification Engineer - Western Germany

STXI Motion is looking for a Software Verification Engineer with a passion for industrial automation. As a SW Verification Engineer at STXI Motion you will play a fundamental role in one the industry’s leading development teams in the field of drive technology and industrial automation. In this position, you will be constructing and automating the test procedures of the software blocks of the company’s products. You will explore and recommend smart, creative, and efficient test procedures that will enhance the product quality and robustness before it is launched to the market.

Roles & responsibilities:
  • Verify and validate STXI Motion products software, as part of a complex multidisciplinary system consisting of HW, SW, Algorithms, mechanics, etc.
  • Create automated test procedures that can enhance testing time and efficiency.
  • Operate a fieldbus master (CAN / ECAT) and run test programs on it.
  • Maintain and develop state of the art V&V flows, tools, and methodology.
  • Work together with the product and project development teams to define the correct test procedures that are needed to comply with the product specifications.
  • Report to development team leader.
Minimum requirements:
**MANDATORY:
  • Sc/ Practical Engineering Certificate in Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science/ equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in system tests
  • Strong experience with test plans for multi-disciplinary systems
  • Strong experience with source\version control tools
  • Experience in C++, Python, Node.JS, WEB technologies

**STRONG ADVANTAGES:

  • Experience in the field of Motion Control / Industrial Automation
  • Experience operating servo drives and PLCs
